AUS Maths 12-14

What do you want the students to learn? How to measure location, distance, time and speed. Why is it important? Using mathematics to better understand the content and context of everyday experiences. How will you know that students are learning? Through discussion, worksheets and presentations.

This unit of work is designed to encourage student directed learning and discovery, within a structured framework that applies basic Mathematical tools to a modern-day scenario, so that content is placed within a larger cultural context. Through this students will develop links to other knowledge, deeper understanding and better retention.
