Professional Development Opportunity
28-Sep-2010 SurfAid International Schools Program is offering free professional development opportunities for interested schools to highlight our new US Curriculum Resources that are tied to current California State Subject Matter Standards in grades 4-12.
The SurfAid International Schools Program uses the story of SurfAid International and our founder, Dr. Dave Jenkins, as examples of Global Citizenship in action. All of our existing curriculum resources utilize the SurfAid story as a case study to demonstrate the power of global citizenship and how all content areas can be applied to deepen our understanding of how one can act as a global citizen to improve our world.
If you are interested in an engaging, hands-on, authentic model to inspire your students toward learning in all content areas, contact the SurfAid Schools Program US Coordinator, Andrea Yoder Clark, to schedule a free professional development opportunity at your school.
