Values Assessment - Poverty Sucks

Key concepts that students could use in explaining people’s differing values position towards the people in NZ helping people who live in poverty in other countires. Could include: beliefs, ideas, change, values, work, equity, wants, family, roles, human rights, culture, perception, past, present or future, gender, cause, effect and customs.

This assessment is designed to be carried out during a unit of work based around ‘Ronald Rulz OK?’ which is available on ‘Social Studies Online’ through ‘Te Kete Ipurangi’ http://www.tki.org.nz/r/socialscience/curriculum/SSOL/ronaldrulz/index_e.php
If this unit of work is not used, students may not have the required knowledge and understanding to successfully complete the assessment.
