Meet SurfAid
“What you see depends on where you sit” is a well-known adage alerting us to the fact that the perspective from which we view things is often very different from how others see them.
The two lessons in this unit introduce students to the Mentawai Islands and SurfAid International while impressing upon them the powerful things that can happen when you “move out of your comfort zone” and take proactive steps to see what things look like when you stand in a different place.
